The auditions for this year's Competition were held over a hectic but extremely successful weekend.
Paul Harris, one of our highly respected and professional adjudicators, said that the standard was not just high, but extremely high, which is most exciting.
There were 35 entrants and the members of the Panel were:
Margarita Balanas for strings
Louise Inness for voice
Paul Harris for woodwind and brass
Mark Cracknell for piano who also was accompanist for many.
The five equal winners were:
Teagan Craggs, Violin age 15
Hannah Eden, Flute age 16
Ginevra Dobson, Voice age 13
Harold Long Lee, Oboe age 17
Dee Dee Redford, Piano age 9
The two runners up were:
Sophie Sze, Violin age 15
And Laria Campbell, Cello age 16
All seven will be invited to attend a masterclass at the end of August.
Congratulations!
