The masterclass for the winners and runners-up of this year's competition was held at Taunton School, lead by Rokas Valuntonis, one of the Competition adjudicators. It was hugely beneficial to all those involved, especially as the musicians' parents were able to attend as well, making for a vast amount of creative interaction.
Mr Valuntonis worked with the players on their the fine tuning and with all of them on extra possibilities with their pieces; it made a huge difference to their performances. Accompanist, Mark Cracknell was also most positive and encouraging.
